Raymond® Type E and EE trucks are designed to handle hazardous materials such as chemicals, petroleum, aerosols, pharmaceuticals and other combustible materials. Type E products are tested and certified by Underwriters Laboratories (UL) to see they are reasonably free from foreseeable risk of fire and electric shock.
The Type EE UL certified products, in addition to having all of the requirements as the Type E products, have electric motors and all other electrical equipment completely enclosed. In certain locations Type EE products may be used where Type E products may not be considered suitable.
